Insignias and Inscriptions are a great change to the game, and I would love to see it implemented in the first two chapters as well. I understand that this would not be an easy task and a considerable amount of work for the developers, but I think it would be worth all the effort in the end to have consistancy in the game mechanics for weapon and armor upgrades in all of the chapters.

EDIT: Another idea to implement this would be to add an Armor Crafter NPC in each of the previous campgains, say at Ember Light Camp for Prophecies for example, which had max AL armor available in every skin for that campaign with no mods, that way the progression of armor strength would be perserved in the Prophecies campaign. However, the consistancy of game mechanics is lost with this implementation.

They modified Tyrian armor after factions release, and those changes did not have the impact of the Inscription system.
